Description
Nature Based Therapy is based on the neuroscience of human bonds with the natural world, including plants and animal interaction, and the ways that connecting with nature increase individual health and community wellbeing. During this session you will learn about the Nature-Based Therapeutic Services at the University of Minnesota - a shared initiative with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality and Healing and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. This session will cover the rationale for the Nature-Based Therapeutic Services - the continuum of services and the benefits and challenges implementing them - concluding with a vision for the future of this and similar programs.
