Description
This short course explores the collection of rainwater from site and structures and its reuse for landscape irrigation. Some covered topics will include potential contaminants and possible treatment, storage options, pumps and controls, available versus required water volume and installation practices and costs. The relationship between collections systems and LEED credits WE 1.1 and WE 1.2 will also be discussed.

* Learn how to calculate available storm water on a site as well as water demand for a typical irrigation system and understand the relationship between the two.
