Description
Seeing the manufacturing process provides designers with insight into the many steps required to bring successful products to market. Join us on an in-depth 2-hour tour of our manufacturing facilities, where participants will be able to see firsthand the technologies employed to create code-compliant railing systems, including a multi-step powder coating process and in-house product testing facilities.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify how raw materials enter the facility to maximize product flow efficiency. Describe raw materials procurement, and supply chain management to create a final product that is not only up to code but will also help ensure the safety of installers and occupants.
2. Explore steps of the powder coating process, from initial washing phases through final inspection. Learn about the LEED V4 capture and recycling of raw powder for future applications involving sustainability, safety and code standards.
3. Observe and inspect the product through its various stages of assembly through packaging. Observe workflow, understand how the new technologies employed produce a railing or fencing product that once specified, will be an integral part of a durable and rigid building project.
4. Evaluate and meet with the Product Engineering team to discuss product testing, and development as well as observe test facility in action with safety as a priority throughout the whole process.
