Description
Rising energy costs and increasingly stringent energy codes have made lighting a strong focus in sustainable exterior lighting design. It is critical for designers to understand the latest strategies and technologies in lighting landscapes, hardscapes, streetscapes and building facades to achieve high-impact, highly efficient designs that avoid unnecessary light trespass and pollution. This seminar explains the trends which are driving exterior lighting today - trends in energy and sustainable design; trends in exterior lighting products, including emerging technologies such as LEDs and controls; and trends in exterior lighting applications to meet sustainability goals while achieving extraordinary visual impact. Experienced professional lighting designers with a broad knowledge base and wide variety of project types will discuss these trends in detail.
