- Please join us for the second session of the Tree Equity Coaching Network with Breece Robertson and Tree Charlotte! Breece will explore how geospatial innovation and community leadership are driving a more just, data-informed future for urban greening and tree equity. Then we'll learn about Tree Charlotte's data driven initiative, Treesilience, and how it maintains and plants trees in Charlotte’s under-canopied and underserved neighborhoods.

Learning Outcomes
1. Understand the Role of Geospatial Data in Advancing Tree Equity
Participants will learn how to interpret and apply geospatial tools—such as Tree Equity Score and canopy analysis—to identify disparities, prioritize planting, and inform equitable urban greening strategies.
2. Analyze the Intersection of Tree Benefits, Disservices, and Community Impact
Attendees will explore how tree canopy influences quality of life, health, wellness, and public safety—particularly in underserved neighborhoods—and how to use these insights to advocate for more just and strategic urban forestry initiatives.
3. Apply Data-Informed Advocacy and Planning Tools
Participants will leave equipped to access and present Tree Equity Score and other relevant data to decision-makers, integrating these tools into landscape design, community engagement, and urban policy to drive action toward equitable canopy outcomes.
