Description
The course will consist of a review of green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) options for landscape architects and engineers to implement on green street projects. Design elements reviewed include space efficient stormwater storage, pretreatment filters and
screens, biofiltration, porous / permeable surfaces, and soil cells for urban trees. For each of these types of infrastructure, there will be an introduction, an overview of the benefits, design considerations, and project examples.
