Upon completion of this course, you will have a better understanding of the various types of porcelain and natural stone pavers, Industry standards and installation methods, in addition, you will also be able to identify system elements including permeable mortars, drainage membranes, direct bonding adhesives and grouting mortars.

Learning Outcomes
o Identify the different types of porcelain and stone pavers and their specific installation requirements.
o Explain the causes and prevention of efflorescence in paver installation, including the role of moisture and salts.
o Understand the importance of expansion joints in paver installations and how to properly incorporate them to accommodate movement.
o Describe various installation methods for porcelain and stone pavers, including direct bond applications and drainage mortars and membranes systems
o Assess common installation errors and explain methods for troubleshooting to ensure long-lasting trouble-free installations.
