Description
This two-hour course explores weed control strategies with a focus on less toxic methods suitable for use in landscape design and maintenance. The course explores Integrated Pest Management (IPM), herbicide composition and toxicity, organic alternatives, and other weed control resources.

Learning Outcome 1:
Learners will be able to explain the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and its application to weed control.

Learners will be able to interpret herbicide labels, signal words, and toxicity indicators to make informed product selections.
Learning Outcome 3:
Learners will be able to evaluate organic herbicide trial results and identify resources to support low-toxicity weed management strategies.
