Description
The workshop aims to develop a holistic understanding of sustainable practices related to public furnishing design, specification, and manufacturing. Designers will be given the tools to reduce environmental impacts while selecting materials and furnishing types. Sustainable practices during furnishing manufacturing, installation, lifespan and re/upcycling stages will be described. Conclusively, parameters and detailing/anchoring approaches will be discussed to efficiently match furnishings with design intents and contexts.
