Description
This form is for Part 2 of the Rain Garden Design Workshop, focusing on the hands-on installation component of the two-part series. The Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) is hosting a Rain Garden Design Workshop for landscape architects, providing practical training on the installation and maintenance of rain gardens as effective stormwater solutions. In this session, participants will bring their designs to life by installing the rain garden planned during Part 1. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with site preparation, soil amendments, plant placement, and proper mulching techniques. This interactive workshop will reinforce best practices for creating functional, resilient, and visually appealing rain gardens.
