Integrated Project Management

Description
In today’s competitive, variable and changing environment, delivering projects successfully on budget, on schedule and with the integrity of the design intact requires a collaborative, whole team approach. While Design / Bid / Building, Design-Build, CM at risk Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), LEAN Construction, and other delivery methods have their merits, they have not proven to be the alternative project delivery method the construction industry had hoped they would be — an alternate approach, one that is scalable, adaptable and collaborative to meet the needs for everyday projects.

After giving an overview of contemporary project delivery challenges and methods, this program introduces a transparent, collaborative and accountable process to enable project managers to: (1) effectively manage resources; (2) the competitive selection and management of the consultant team and contractors, and; (3) complete projects within budget on schedule consistent with the original design expectation. Our distinguished instructors facilitate an interactive learning environment and explore these issues through lectures and case studies of real projects. They will also address the enduring impacts of COVID-19 / supply chain management on project management, project delivery, and the A/E/C industry.
