Description
This course will scratch the surface of the linear drainage world, including trench drain, slot drain and utility trench. A review of the history of linear drainage will provide some context as to where the industry has been and where it is going. Next, an in depth look at the common failures experienced by linear drains historically will be followed up by design considerations to ensure that you have the basics needed to make informed decisions and avoid those typical pitfalls. Lastly, we'll have a look at some various case studies which highlight the depth and breadth of what a linear drain solution can do on a variety of different projects.
