Oaks and Herbicide... Oops!
Start Date
02/19/2025
End Date

Description
In recent years I have been getting more and more calls about herbicide damaged oak trees. At first I dipped my toe in... then recently dove right into the deep end.
I am making all kinds of friends here in Iowa! This is not an adversarial relationship. I am confident that Big Ag and arborists share these two goals: bumper crops and healthy trees.
How is it happening? What is it doing to our beloved oaks? What can we do to prevent it? Let's have this discussion.
