Learning Outcomes
Participants will learn to recognize various types of outdated and potentially hazardous sports flooring, including the materials commonly used and the risks associated with them. Participants will understand the specific health and safety risks posed by older sports flooring materials, including the potential for injury or exposure to harmful substances. Participants will gain knowledge about different resurfacing techniques and materials that can be used to safely upgrade or replace hazardous sports flooring, considering both performance and safety. Participants will become familiar with the correct procedures for safely disposing of hazardous sports flooring materials, adhering to environmental regulations and best practices.
