Description
This two-hour course explores the principles of soil evaluation and site grading, focusing on the analysis of native and disturbed soils, the implications of seasonal high groundwater, and the challenges of urbanized soil profiles. The course will also explore mass grading, including the issues and stabilization approaches for cut and fill slopes, and the reasons for slope failures and prevention strategies.
