Description

Antón García-Abril, founder of Ensemble Studio and co-founder of in-house research/fabrication lab, WoHo, will give a presentation on recent works from these entities. Anton will be presenting from the progressive perspective of his redefined role as an architect, with added roles of developer, contractor, fabricator, and inventor.

Attendees will LEARN about the CHALLENGES of working within the HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL CONTEXT of Spain to create SAFE and sustainable facilities.

Attendees will LEARN about SITE PLANNING and how the Structures of Landscape project enables the creation of a HEALTHY SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS WELLBEING.

Attendees will be able to IDENTIFY the BENEFITS of using prefabricated construction components in the WoHo facility and EVALUATE the applicability of this construction component to OTHER PROJECTS.

Attendees will be able to IDENTIFY multiple STRATEGIES AND APPROACHES when it comes to in-house PREFABRICATION and CONSTRUCTION costs when acting as a developer on a project.
