Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcome 1:
Learners will be able summarize the benefits of vegetated roofs in today's urban built environment and explain how stormwater management and energy conservation goals can be addressed by vegetated roofs.

Learning Outcome 2:
Learners will be able to identify common components and layout configurations of vegetated roofs, and they will be able to discuss structural issues affecting design and performance and site considerations for all vegetated green roof types.

Learning Outcome 3:
Learners will be able to discuss design specifications for vegetated roof design for specific outcomes, including stormwater management, energy efficiency, or aesthetic/therapeutic green-view goals.

Learning Outcome 4:
Learners will be able to discuss vegetated roof construction and logistics, and they will be able to define the parameters of a successful project.
