Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcome 1:
Learners will be able to adopt best practices for native plant selection, such as considering ecoregions and ecotypes, identifying natives that need pollination partners, and understanding what defines a straight species and nativar.

Learning Outcome 2:
Learners will be able to utilize native groundcovers and/or meadowscapes as lawn replacement strategies and experience the functional and ecological benefits.

Learning Outcome 3:
Learners will be able to discuss strategies aimed at achieving continuous sequence of bloom, floral diversity and floral sufficiency, as well as the design and maintenance of pollinator habitat.

Learning Outcome 4:
Learners will be able to create resilient landscapes to survive extreme and erratic weather events, provide ecological resources in the face of changing phenology and adopt planting strategies to fortify ecosystems.
