Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to identify geosynthetic properties for use in slope stabilization, and will be able to study equations, calculations and examples of geosynthetic design and construction.
Learners will be able to discuss and analyze case histories of deep seated, rotational and other slope failures.
Learners will be able to explain soil properties and conditions that contribute to slope stability.
Learners will be able to determine which materials to use on the exposed face of a slope to maintain long term stability.
