Learning Outcomes
1. The instructor will examine three sustainable concrete systems for various concrete surface paving applications so that attendees will be able to make appropriate exposed aggregate system selections based on environmental impact, performance requirements, aesthetics and budget.

2. Course participants will identify techniques used to create exposed aggregate concrete, including various decorative and structural wall options, so they can integrate sustainable applications of concrete into their designs to help ensure energy efficient buildings that reduce product environmental impacts.

3. The instructor will describe the benefits of green concrete system pavements, including options for porous paving that designers will utilize to conserve and manage site water and drainage and increase infiltration within their project sites.

4. The instructor will discuss various concrete surface finishes, including exposed aggregate surfaces, porous concrete options, application processes and environmental issues so designers can make appropriate finish selections to help integrate sustainable design goals into their projects.
