Learners will be able to reference and comply with stormwater regulations, understand site assessment criteria, and be able to assist with preparing stormwater pollution prevention planning.

Learners will be able to explain the selection criteria for stormwater basin and underground system design and be able to select basin types, including detention basins, retention ponds, and infiltration basins.

Learners will be able to explain the selection consideration when choosing between underground storage systems: retention or detention/infiltration.

Learners will be able to identify and explain sustainable best practices in stormwater detention and retention.
