Description
This class will discuss National Electric Codes in regards to low voltage lighting, Dark sky ordinances, and give guidance on how to lay out a lighting system utilizing different industry techniques. The importance of kelvin temperature and color and how they can enhance the lighting portraits will also be demonstrated.

Learning Outcomes
1. Attendees will get in introduction into navigating design and installation of low voltage lighting in regards to following the rules of the National Electric Code.
2. Attendees will have a better understanding of how to navigate around Dark Sky Ordinances
3. Attendees will learn how placement of fixtures greatly affects the characteristics of a light fixture.
4. Attendees will learn general rules of thumb of correctly sizing transformers and designing maximum wire runs so that system overloads are reduced.
