Description
This course examines site feasibility planning, conceptual planning, distinctions between residential and commercial site development and construction, site grading, drainage and stormwater management, septic system planning, and project management and permitting.

Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to participate in site feasibility and conceptual planning that will identify potential constraints and opportunities.

Learners will be able to identify the design elements for, and distinctions of, residential site planning and commercial, institutional, and recreational site design.

Learners will be able to explain how site grading for roadways, single family lots, multi-family lots, and commercial lots accomplishes drainage requirements for stormwater, stormwater pollution prevention planning, and septic systems.

Learners will be able to participate in site management and acquisition of required permits necessary for site design and development.
