Will be a presentation by Scott Bishop ASLA, Chair of the Climate Action Committee for the ASLA, Founding Principal of Bishop Land Design, and the Professor of the Practice at Northeastern University's, School of Architecture Urban Landscape Program. He will be discussing how each facet, service, practice and research provide interesting approaches to solving Climate Change. The presentation will talk specifically about the formation and ongoing work of the ASLA Climate Action Committee. On the practice side, Scott will discuss projects that are looking to create a more productive human ecology in cities. On the Academic front, he will talk about his research work with his students in how to create the Ecological City. The goal is to discuss how the interplay between these seeming disparate silos can be networked to make landscape architects the climate architects of the future.
