Description
An integral part of connecting people to spaces and making spaces accessible for everyone is incorporating site furniture. Knowing where, what, and how to place furniture into a space can be a challenge. This course will take an in-depth look at outdoor park benches, tables, and bike racks. We will cover the types, options, best practices in application, and regulations (ADA). We will also talk about the characteristics of common materials used on site furnishings and how they impact the longevity, value, ethics, and safety.
