Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to describe the impacts and challenges of urban development and stormwater management.
Learners will be able to define "integrated stormwater management" and how it varies from traditional stormwater management approaches.
Learners will be able to reference the Clean Water Act and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and MS4 in the process of developing an intergrated stormwater management plan.
Learners will be able to explain the social and environmental benefits of undertaking an integrated stormwater management strategy.
Learners will be able to describe how various project participants can collaboratively work toward a stormwater treatment train paradigm.
Learners will be able to identify how low impact development (LID) planning and green infrastructure tools play a vital role in integrated stormwater management.
