Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to describe the benefits of green infrastructure (GI) and how plant water conservation strategies improved stormwater management. Learner will be able to distinguish native, non-native and naturalized plant species.

Learners will be able to discuss plant /soil evapotranspiration performance and methods to improve soil conditions to ensure plant health and longevity.

Learners will be able to describe building-integrated green infrastructure plant selection criteria, which take into account site constraints, building roof deck slope, drainage systems, and existing microclimates.

Learners will be able to apply planting strategies for optimal outcomes, including plant material size and type, creatiing successful plant communities by selecting certain plant combinations, installation practices necessary for quick establishment and lower plant mortality, and establishing proper irrigation and stormwater practices.
