Description

This course examines stormwater permit requirements and procedures, stormwater science and consequences of storm events, post construction stormwater management plans, best management practices, operation and maintenane of stormwater BMPs, and updates to Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection stormwater constructon requirements.

Learning Outcomes

Learners will be able to comply with federal and state stormwater permit requirements and procedures to protect water quality from construction activities.

Learners will be able to discuss the sciene of stormwater and describe the consequenes of storm events.

Learners will be able to identify and select appropriate stormwter best management practices (BMPs) and distinguish between non-structural and structural BMPs.

Lerners will be able to explain and comply with updates to Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Proteciton NPDES Chapter 102 regarding Notices of Intent.
