Description
A.Landscape performance can be defined as a measure of the effectiveness with which landscape solutions fulfill their intended purpose and contribute to sustainability. This panel session reflects on 10 years of this significant focus on landscape performance within the landscape architecture discipline. Panelists will provide an overview of the evolution and current state of landscape performance scholarship, teaching, and use in professional practice with emphasis on the products and outcomes from LAF’s Landscape Performance Series and CELA’s Landscape Performance Track. The panel will conclude by speculating about what is next for landscape performance within the context of landscape architecture discipline. Audience interaction will be encouraged and actively solicited.
