Learning Outcomes
1. Readers will be provided with a list of trees that are adaptable to a wide range of temperatures.
2. Landscape architects will be able to reduce the carbon footprint associated with tree planting, care and removal using techniques based on US Forest Service and academic research.
3. A discussion of riparian buffers offers the landscape architect information on how to promote healthy streams, support diversity in fish populations and minimize stream bank erosion that affects the health of wildlife and water quality.
