Description
Three LAF Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership recipients present their transformational and timely work toward a more just and sustainable future. Each Fellow will present the specifics of their work for 15 minutes, and a question-and-answer session will follow the Fellows’ individual presentations. The online Symposium is the culmination of the year-long LAF Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership, a unique program and $25,000 award that supports mid-career, senior-level, and emerging professionals as they develop and test new ideas that will drive the future of the landscape architecture discipline.

Learning Outcomes
- Understand the role of landscape architects and opportunities for action with issues such as design activism, resiliency planning, working landscapes, the geopolitical study of land, indigenous knowledge, and equity.

- Learn about the research and process that landscape architects have experienced over the course of their fellowship year in making transformational steps in the development of project work that contributes to innovation and leadership in the profession, the environment, and humanity.

- Gain inspiration for how to work toward transformative change in your own work and have an opportunity for networking with Fellows
