Learners will be able to describe site remediation technologies and processes and explain the steps for choosing an appropriate remedy for cleaning-up the site.

Learners will be able to discuss the importance of identifying important contaminate and subsurface properties prior to initiating a remediation strategy.

Learners will be able to explain the circumstances where the best remediation method is contaminant removal and how that is achieved.

Learners will be able to explain the circumstances where the best remediation method is a chemical or biological treatment and how that is performed.
