Description
The Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association has partnered with the Ohio State University (OSU) and Associated Green Industries of NE Ohio (AGI) to offer an educational walkabout that takes a critical look at landscape and turf in the early morning. Jacqueline Kowalski is an OSU Extension Horticulture Educator, who along with other horticulturalists will lead this in-depth discussion of the art and science of scouting, diagnostics and control of landscape pests. Jacqueline Kowalski is an Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educator for Ohio State University and holds a BS in Horticulture from MSU and a MA from UVI in Education. She specializes in commercial and consumer horticulture.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will:
(1) Gain an understanding of the turf, plants, pests, diseases and landscape design of the site.
(2) Learn about plant selection, plant problems, diagnostics and health management practices.
(3) Learn how to solve plant issues and see the environmental impacts of healthy plants in landscape designs.
