Description
This webinar present and discusses design elements, technical aspects, and design analysis of the ASLA Honor award winning design of Sundance Square Plaza, located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. Sundance Square Plaza site is presented in the greater context of the urban area and programmatic needs of the city. A presentation of the design, discussion of some of the technical and design choices help to illustrate some design elements such as programmatic flexibility, safety considerations, accessibility choices, thermal comfort, stage integration, and lighting. This site excels in becoming the “living room” of the city and weaving together the fabric of the history, culture, and programmatic needs of the city.
