Description
This two-hour live lecture presentation examines the history and development of US Army Corps HEC-HMS software, its application user interface
and will demonstrate building a small-scale watershed model.

Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to describe the history and development of the US Army Corps of Engineers’ HEC-HMS software for modeling hydrologic processes.
Learners will be able to use the HEC-HMS user interface to enter information for watershed modeling.
Learners will be able to see how HEC-HMS software is used to create small-scale watershed models, and learners will get tips on preparing a small-scale watershed model.
Learners will be able to set up a watershed model in HEC-HMS and learn how the program can be used to perform traditional hydrologic analysis.
