This 6.5 hour live lecture presentation examines Delaware erosion, erosion and stormwater laws and regulations, stormwater plan approval, regulatory guidance documents, training and certification training, the plan review process, engineering resources, construction review and maintenance resources.

Learning Outcomes

Learners will be able to comply with stormwater management laws in Delaware, and with Section 5101 of the Delaware Administrative Code, which regulates stormwater systems.

Learners will be able to use the Delaware erosion and sediment control handbook to include appropriate stormwater best management practices in stormwater system designs.

Learners will be able to comply with training requirements for stormwater program designers, contractors and reviewers.

Learners will be able to comply with the requirements of the NPDES construction permit.

Learners will be able to prepare for stormwater plan review using the stormwater assessment study checklist.
