Learning Outcomes
Learners will be able to define ecological restoration and distinguish active restoration and passive restoration of project sites.

Learners will be able to describe the habitat restoration process, including site evaluations, establishing project objectives and monitoring, and designing with nature, not against it.

Learners will be able to incorporate natural habitat interests in urban environment planning and construction activities.

Learners will be able to discuss methods to monitor and manage habitat restoration efforts to assure long-term success.
