Leading in LA – A CEC EPIC Demonstration Project for Deep Energy Retrofits

Start Date
09/26/2019
End Date

Description
Leading in LA is a major research project, led by New Buildings Institute, which assesses energy-savings opportunities on retrofit measures including lighting, controls, automated redirecting window treatment, and minor HVAC adjustments. The project measures baseline and retrofit energy use, including occupancy comfort evaluations. Once complete, the project will provide detailed energy profiles and M&V (Measurement & Verification) 2.0 results for the retrofit. The research will also make recommendations based on building results and modelling for greater energy efficiency and broader retrofit applications.
