2010 ADA Standards: Piers and Docks
This course discusses the 2010 ADA Standards specifically related to piers and docks. An existing dock is used as a case study, to illustrate parts of the ADA Standards including: accessible parking, path of travel, ramps, pier and dock requirements. The course discussion takes a methodical look at the standards as the user would experience the site, from parking, travel to the dock, and design elements to ensure quality user experience.
