Description
Kristof Grina, co-founder and Farm Director at Up Top Acres will discuss the mission and vision of Up Top Acres, and the growing industry of rooftop farming. Kristof will discuss what's currently growing on the rooftop, and the different growing systems we use across our network of rooftop farms. He will discuss how we've innovated upon the traditional green roof system, explaining our specialized soil blend, irrigation techniques, design requirements etc. Additionally, he will discuss our work with the local government to incentivize urban agriculture in order to establish agriculture as a fixture of city life.
