Description
Outdoor space has the ability to connect people with nature and each other in meaningful ways. This course will provide inspirational tools that promote conversations and open minds (and funding) for more comprehensive outdoor spaces. We will examine the critical role that site furnishings and supporting technology play in meeting the evolving needs of outdoor environments - from higher education, healthcare and corporate campuses, transit, and living and recreational spaces.

In the presentation we will watch videos from experts in each of our six markets. These experts will address the role site furnishings can playin creating great spaces, and the importance of considering furnishings at the time of developing the landscape. We will show you case studies that illustrate powerful results when site furnishings are considered at the early phases of landscape development. Participants will leave inspired by the important role they can play in communicating the real importance of outdoor space to their clients.
