Learners will be able to define and describe safety, health, and environmental impacts of light pollution and explain how the site design professional can address this issue.

Learners will be able to identify and apply ecological concepts to landscape architectural and site design.

Learners will be able to explain how landscape architectural design can positively impact animal populations and habitat and restore native ecosystems.

Learners will be able to discuss role of landscape architectural design in meeting stormwater management challenges and be able to identify and describe best practices for green stormwater infrastructure design.
