Description
“Let us green the earth, restore the earth, and heal the earth.” – Ian McHarg
Since 1968, the firm Quennell Rothschild & Partners has applied inspiration from McHarg to their design across a wide variety of sites and project types. In this session, principal Mark Bunnell will illustrate how McHarg’s visionary approach to sustainable design is still being applied today in Quennell Rothschild & Partners’ diverse range of projects. Case studies will demonstrate the application of sustainable design principles within an urban setting. These case studies will incorporate topics such as stormwater design, materials selection, rooftop landscapes, water use, and active design.
