Designing a Carbon Neutral New York - Session 3

Start Date
09/21/2018
End Date

Description
One critical area for discussion is the idea of maintaining equity in the context of carbon reduction. Too often the development and implementation of environmental policies do not fairly reach and engage with a full spectrum of the population in the city. This session examines how designers and planners can support efforts towards creating a more sustainable city that is inclusive of all people. The panel will consist of city agencies and advocacy organizations that tackle carbon reduction related issues through an equity lens.
