Description
There is a large attrition rate of women in the design professions, due to workplaces that are unaware of and unresponsive to the needs of female professionals. Through entrepreneurship women have regained control of their professional and work lives. We will explore the various choices and options that are possible.

1. Learn about job strategies and challenges: job sharing, pro bono work, specialization of skills. 2. Gain insight into the rewards and drawbacks of female leadership and entrepreneurship. 3. Pros and Cons of becoming an entrepreneur and creating your own “mommy track”. 4. Gain insight into why landscape architecture is lacking full parity and integration with women and minorities, while exploring likely causes and possible solutions.
