Cities are experiencing their rivers as a threat because of flooding, pollution, and land subsidence. Urban nature-based solutions, however, help ensure that water is a competitive advantage. This session offers insight into challenges, successes, and failures of landscape interventions aimed at flood protection in the city of Rotterdam.
