Learning Outcomes
1) Attendees will gain a better understanding of the relationship between vehicle speeds, street width, traffic volume, and on-street parking as it relates to walkability and retail success.
2) Attendees will learn key design elements of public spaces that are active, inviting, walkable, and have successful retail.
3) Attendees will be introduced to a programming and design process used to activate downtowns through pop-up events, public gathering spaces, and community events.
