• Recognizing changing seasonal climate conditions in geographical locations throughout US. Freeze/thaw cycles and increasing temperatures affect material selection and design for athletic venues.
• Understanding rainfall intensity, durations, and high groundwater tables and how they can design facilities appropriately to allow for these changing conditions
• Informing of sub-surface soil conditions and their potential impacts along with sub-surface drainage collection systems and how they discharge
• Explaining how to properly select the correct synthetic turf field and facility products based on regional climate conditions
