Description
This tour will include walking about two miles, driving a short distance and riding on a wagon. All this will be to learn about how Natural Bridge as a resort, a retreat and now a state park. Attention to cultural influences in land use and development will also be covered.

Learning Outcomes
1. To understand how geology can effect land use development.

2. To understand the cultural influences of land development from indigenous people to the Great Wagon Road travelers to park visitors.

3. To be introduced to the Virginia State Park master plan process and how it if effected by the land forms and natural elements of the site.
