The Pattern Language of Concrete Pavers

Start Date
06/26/2018
End Date

Description
This presentation exposes the audience to many paver patterns and their design possibilities. Many visual examples instruct on how to differentiate designs with paver patterns, colors and textures. Many of the examples demonstrate relationships between the paver patterns and their support to the site and building design. The presentation vehicle is a “design vocabulary” that helps integrate pavement design with the site and building. Obviously, this is not a technical presentation, but focuses on the beauty and design versatility of segmental concrete pavements.
